  • Job Details
  • Job Summary: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Responsibilities: Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  • Complexity of Work: Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
    • Job Requirements
    • Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
    • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
    • Required for all travelers. Preferred to be completed prior to start, can be completed onsite.
    • Documentation of vaccination series completion OR documentation of declination to vaccine to be signed and dated by traveler.
    • 1st PPD within 1 year, 2nd PPD within 30 days of start.
    • Verification of education relevant to candidate's clinical work. Must be completed within 90 days of start.

      • Must be AHA.
      • Must be AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program
      • HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics. Completed within a year of start updated yearly.
