Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff Counsel - Workers
Compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Independently represents the Employer/Carrier in administrative
hearings on litigated workers' compensation claims
Analyzes legal issues, conducts legal research, and develops
defense strategies
Prepares pleadings, written discovery, motions, and briefs in
support of defense strategies
Required Qualifications
IL State licensed attorney; licenses in IL/WI/MN desired
Knowledge of Illinois Workers' Compensation statutes and their
application
3+ years of workers' compensation litigation experience
