Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff Data Scientist to develop
advanced machine learning models for credit risk areas.
Key Responsibilities
Identify opportunities and collaborate to develop machine learning
models and strategies for credit underwriting
Evaluate alternative data sources and drive proof of concept
projects to demonstrate business value
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy models and
present insights to leadership
Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience in unsecured loan underwriting with a
Master's or PhD in a quantitative field
Strong knowledge of machine learning and statistical modeling
methods
Proficient programming skills in Python and knowledge of databases
(SQL, NoSQL, etc.)
Ability to influence individuals at various technical and business
leadership levels
Highly motivated, eager to learn, and able to work collaboratively
in a dynamic environment
