Performs routine histological procedures. Adheres to patient identification, Lab safety, and other Mercy Lab and department policies and procedures. Develops standard operating procedures in department. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: HT(ASCP) or obtained within 18 months of hire date. -Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preferred Education: Associate's degree.
  • Preferred Experience: 5 years in a histology lab performing histotechnician duties.
